SW MN Fishing Club 2 Day Walleye Tournament

The tournament is put on by the SW Mn Fishing Club which spends all of it's dollars in SW MN lakes for landing replacement, docks, areation systems, and learning programs for children.

The tournament is Saturday June 2nd on Round Lake for leg 1 and Sunday June 3rd on Lake Okabena in Worthington for leg 2. Both days from 7:30 to 3pm. Registration starts at 6am at East Side Acres campground in Round Lake and 6am Sunday at Sunset Park in Worthington. Entry Fee is 50 per boat, two fisher-persons per boat (note my political correctness)

1st Prize Payout 1000.00 GUARANTEED

2nd through 10th based on number of paid entries

Limit of 6 Fish per boat

Minimum size of 15 inches

1 fish over 20 per BOAT

shotgun start both days, weigh in both days at 3pm

There will be a meeting on Friday June 1st for those who would like to attend at 7pm at Cole's (Formerly the Longbranch Saloon in Worthington) They would like at least 1 member present for each team.

Food and Prize money to be given out Sunday following the Weigh in at Centenial Beach, On Saturday Eastside acres will be open early for coffee, donuts, ect

The money raised on this tourney all stays local to improve lake access, lake shoreline, oxygen levels and youth education!!!!!

      3" on west hunter in Zimmerman 15yds from shore.  Lakes talking a lot today. Keep in mind the lake is only 8' deep   A dozen trucks/cars at Baxter last evening when I drove by

      Thanks guys.  So just to recap so far, Nils and KDrill require adapters, which add $30 or so, but you can use them w/out the drill plate if you want to.  How about Strikemasters do they need an adapter?     Also, just wondering if there is any legit reason to pay $100 more for the K Drill over the Nils?  Seems to me they are about the same weight (ballpark) and both cut pretty fast.     Thanks again for the info fellas!!
