1989 Real Lite slide on truck camper, cheap fixerupper

2 posts in this topic

1989 Real Lite slide on truck camper. This unit is HUGE, it measures approx 18ft from front to end and it's almost 8ft wide. It requires a 1 ton dually. It has refrigerator, stove, AC, furnace, etc. and they are all working.

It was damaged backing up against a pole, but it's not too bad.

You can fix it or use it for parts, you can put everything in a fishhouse and have a nice setup.

It is located in Cedar falls, IA at a salvage yard, it cannot be previewed, I guarantee at this price you get a bargain.

Email for more pictures.

Price at $ 750.00 obo

I am looking at a new portable shelter this year. It would be ideal to get one that fits 3-4 people so I can take my whole family out. I am looking at the clam x400. My concern is the weight. Does anybody have experience lifting this unit up in the back of a truck or dragging it around or to move from spot to spot?  Any suggestions of other shelters to look at would be great. Thanks!

Just wondering what you guys prefer for fishing fall walleyes down here in southern mn. I know the creek and redtail chubs work great on the northern mn lakes during the fall months but wasnt quite sure if our lakes responded the same down here or if a smaller profile would be the way to go.
