there has been a hot bite on Madison Lake, but you need to sort out the small ones. some good ones have been taken tho.

Or you can try something different? Go that lake/pond that you've been wondering about. Being adventurous can pay big rewards. If that don't work out you can always go where you want to go...

im not sure if the crappies are still biting out on madison but if u want some sunfish for the pan u can go try beaver (Contact Us Please) and fish from shore. my borther and i caught about 50 sunfish along with 4 bass and 2 bullheads all within an hour and a half. the sunfish we did catch there were all kinda small but if u can get enough of them it will be plenty for the pan.

I'll stand behind Steve's ice rods!   I was able to get a nice collection of them last week.  Some panfish rods that I hope to work out tomorrow, and some walleye/laker types that I used today.  Great feel, light, and well built.       I connected with a couple mid-20 inch lakers today and couldn't have enjoyed the fight any better on another rod.  Very happy!   Thanks Steve!
