How did I get assigned to a "Family"?

Just curious how I got assigned to Ice Leaders family? I don't even ice fish!

I wonder if a guy came threw catfish101 and entered chat area and reg., if it would say catfish101 family? I came threw hot spots originally to get here, thats why I assume my family is so.
