Southern Minnesota Bass Tour – 30 team maximum

Registered tournament.

5 lake tournament series with a tournament of champions

Cedar Lake(Rice county) – 6/3/07

Jefferson/German Chain – 6/24/07

Lura Lake – 7/15/07

lake Waconia - 8/26/07

Tetonka - 9/15/07

Tournament of Champions – 9/16/07 (top 10 teams fish one of previous 5 lakes, picked randomly)

$750 per team (2 people per boat, includes all 5/6 events)

Otherwise $175 per boat per event (must register a week in advance)

Payouts for each of 5-6 events: BASED ON 30 BOATS

$1600 – 1st plus plaque

$900 – 2nd plus plaque

$600 – 3rd plus plaque

$300 – 4th

$175 - 5th

$300 – big bass plus plaque

      I love these fish! The attitude is always fun and they taste great. The strip of y bones can be cut right out with a little effort.    I know where I'll be early in the morning May 13th with topwaters and swimbaits!

      Grubens did permits the 2016 season. Fortune bay stopped writing BWCA permits the end of the 2015 season. Sally retired and that ended the permits at the bay.  Some day we will be able to buy permits on line and print them.

      The video shown in the link posted above shows most of the fish they're handling going back because they're not ready or too green. The video was from 4/14 so I would bet they are done as that was 1 1/2 weeks ago. Cutfoot was done in less than a week. Cliff will be able to tell you for sure when then finished but I'd guess they were done by the end of last week.
