Public access conditions

3 posts in this topic

With low water and fishing season here I thought this would be a good spot to share access conditions on our lakes. I do know that some lakes last fall were a treat to get in and out of.

Whatever ya do, DON'T put in on Howard Lake off the highway.

I just replaced my transducers from that son of a gun.

Also, forget North Stanchfield near Princeton unless you have a carry in.

I like deep access' where the wheel wells are submerged within 8 feet of the shore.

The access on Crystal Lake in Lake Crystal has a big hole in the concrete ramps, which makes for a hard time getting a bigger boat out. If you put in at the access go closer to the dock.
