May water level

How low is vermilion this May compared to last May?Heading up the week after opener and just want to know if I have to be very cautious in the bays more so than previous years.

Since we put a peir in last fall, this spring it's up 4 - 6", not any thing close to last spring. We really need some good rain to do any good. So the anwser is be careful.

I am not sure exactly, but would estimate that the water is around 1 foot lower then last year at this time. That could change fairly fast if we get a lot of rain though.
