Lost raingear guidewear

1 post in this topic

Hello,

While fishing the river today with my father he lost a cabelas guidewear jacket shell, as the day warmed up my dad took it off and kept the liner on, and when we were runnung down stream it blew out. This happened somewhere between everets and the bridge on the wis. channel. a little bit before noon saturday we turned and looked for it as soon as we noticed it missing (10 min) and had no luck finding it. I am hoping that would have floated for a while and with the traffic on the river today I sure hope someone would have scooped it up.

If you saw it please contact me at kkreisler@frontiernet.net and he or I would gladly describe it.

Thanks a million,

Kyle Kreisler

I crossed over to the dark side of smallies about 15 years ago. Mostly chase pannies in winter but used to chase eyes a few times on the hard water each season.   I could post a ton of pics if you need more proof.

Sorry to make you hold up a bottom feeder, but we needed to see it!

I was up over the weekend and my shoreline was getting pretty sketchy.  Had a pocket of open water down the shore about a 100 yards. Where I could see the bottom in two to three feet of water.  Walked out about a hundred yards and popped four holes Saturday afternoon. There was 17- 18.5"s of ice in those four holes. Looking at the forecast I can't see the ice sticking around too much longer.  The holes I popped had 5-6" of pretty mushy cloudy stuff on top and about 12"s of pretty solid stuff underneath it.
