Rice Lake Reservoir Ice

Has anybody seen the ice conditions out there? Gotta be happening soon. Thanks

Well as of last tuesday they chanel by the landing was open but the main lake looked pretty solid but it shouldnt be long a good rain and some warm temps will eat it up pretty quick grin.gif

only thing open on rice is the channel as of 2 days ago.

Thanks for the info. My boat is at Duanes outboard and he wants to run it on the lake before I can get it back. going nuts waiting.

went by rice today and i would say it is now about 75% ice free maybe more. that rain really opened it up alot.

      Thanks guys.  So just to recap so far, Nils and KDrill require adapters, which add $30 or so, but you can use them w/out the drill plate if you want to.  How about Strikemasters do they need an adapter?     Also, just wondering if there is any legit reason to pay $100 more for the K Drill over the Nils?  Seems to me they are about the same weight (ballpark) and both cut pretty fast.     Thanks again for the info fellas!!
