Trout Fishing from the weekend

2 posts in this topic

My brother and I hit the water this weekend and managed 9 fish. Three were over the 17" mark. Here is a couple of pictures. I am fairly new to the site and also wanted to share a picture of my taxidermy collection.

I grew up in Chatfield and was a year older than a Jon Mcbroom.I was curious what stream you were on with the pick of you holding your fish as I have only seen one pool that had a rock shoal dipping down into a pool like that before.

      Great stuff guys

The lakes took a beating and I was not out on Sunday to see the damage. Saturday I saw the first 4 to 5 inches turn soft. Be careful and check the ice conditions

Sometimes you need em that size.      You guys did push me over the edge so I had to go out Sunday afternoon.  Thanks for that.

I was going to try to go tomorrow (walking out in metro) despite the rain which appears to be light and I have a portable. Are you concerned about the ice conditions deteriorating throughout the day?  Or just for the rest of the week?
