Hey Geno, How About Some Humor to Break Up This Nasty Mood?

6 posts in this topic

OK Gene, Gene, My Cubbie Loving Machine.

I thought we needed to start a humor thread to break up this nasty mood that is floating around in here. Let's hear it from Twinkie Fans, Injun Fans, Kittie-Lovers and of course poor misguided Cubbie Lovers! Here is my shot, and remember....TRY THE VEAL, I'M HERE ALL WEEK!

Did you hear that Pete Rose just bought a house right next to Wrigley Field??

Seems he wanted to get as far away from Major League Baseball as possible......(INSERT RIM SHOT HERE!)

How do you get a Cubs fan off your front porch???

Pay him for the pizza!.....(INSERT RIM SHOT HERE!)

Why don't the Cubs have their own website???

They can't put three W's together in a row!!!...(RIM SHOT PLEASE!)

What do you say to a Cubs fan in a three piece suit???

Will the defendant please rise!! (ONE MORE RIM SHOT HERE!)

What is the difference between a beer at Wrigley Field and a beer at US Cellular Field???

You can get a beer in October at US Cellular!!!

THANK YOU, YOU'VE BEEN A GREAT AUDIENCE! Don't forget to tip your waitress.

Windy

Geno,

I think this is the spot where you post the joke about the little boy with the crack ho, White Sox fan parents. Wish I had it handy. I know windy knows what I am referring too.

BTW, as a Reds fan, I very much enjoyed the Pete Rose joke above. That there was funny.

Spinner,

I do know the crack ho joke but I will defer to my brethern of the North, Geno. Also, Crack Ho lost her brother this weekend, Don. The only surviving Ho's are Crack and A$$ !

I have a few different rods. The one i was originally referring to i am using for crankbaits.  i have a jig and worm rod as well. I have mastered the cast, just trying to learn more about leaders. Thanks! Do you recommend i use 17# test for my worm and jig rod?

As far as I know walleyes are native to almost every lake that they are found in up north. Cliff

How do you fish for the cats on open water?

Interesting point, BT.  I think our houses caught one perch this year, and I can't say that I knowingly marked one small one (except for when I was down in the bays on the south side).  I have no doubt that they are still in the lake, but I just ain't seeing any.

Are walleyes even native to vermilion? Pretty much every lake in northeast Minnesota had walleyes introduced to them in the last 50 to 100 years. If walleyes weren't native to vermilion, saugers certainly wouldn't have been native either. Sauger numbers seem to shrink the farther east each lake gets from Rainy Lake.
