Was thinking about birch lake or White Iron for opener. Are these lakes pretty hectic on the big day?? I plan on fishing river inlet/outlets on gravel or rock. Any other suggestions on lakes with less pressure?? I got a big boat so nothing in the bwca.

I would try to hit a more low profile lake like the whiteface reservoir. THeres a lot of walleyes in there and i wouldnt think as many fisherman although i havent fished it a lot and never on opener. I havent missed one on vermilion since i was old enough to fish though and i dont plan to start this year grin.gif
