not really that recent, but for what it's worth I was down there during that warm snap a few weeks ago- couple of small channels and a redhorse.

it'll just get better from there I suppose...

It was high last year around this time too. The bites were pretty light...BUT..there are big fish! I think I'm going to use the flies for trout this weekend....leave the cats alone for another week or two. We should hook up for a friendly trip out there one of these days. I'm usually catfishing down there somewhere. Last year, I had a week where I was at the same spot, everyday for 6 days straight. Good luck to you guys if you guys go. Keep us posted on the bite. I may stop by later Sunday after my trout runs down the driftless. grin.gif

The forum has do much more than fishing reports, hot bites, etc.  There's been more general and specific fishing  techniques, information and connecting with each other that has happened  here.     I can get hot bite information in a lot of places.  In fact many hot bites never do up on these forums.  Sounds like you've got a lot of information in a lot of places.   That's great!  Many of us have done the same thing.     Many of us have got together on the ice, in the woods or on the water because of.this forum.  That's what I've always enjoyed the most.     Hope to be able to keep doing that for a long time.

Correct.  You can throw him a buck or two to keep the road graded and all is good.  At least that's my understanding.
