Replacing Bilge Pump

tcroz

Question

Bilge pump went out in my 2004 Lund 1800 tiller

(A little early I thought) what kind of job is it to replace? Anyone have any advice as which type to buy?

Any advice would be appreciated!!

On some of the newer models, the pump just snaps into the base that is mounted in the boat. Not a hard job to do once you get a look at how things are mounted.

There should be a round snap on cove in the middle of your splashwell, pry it or twist it open, you will see your pumps below.

Be sure your fuses are good before replacing it.
