Heading up this weekend...

2 posts in this topic

If the weather forecast remains the same or better it sounds like were heading up to fish on the East side of Franz Gevne Saturday and Sunday. We're launching on the Canadian side and motoring towards the rapids. If anybody has fished between Franz Gevne and Manitou, let me know, we'd like to compare notes from previous years.

Never fished this far east in the spring, usually down around vidas, but I was wondering if someone could tell me approximately how many rigs can park at franz jevne. I pulled in there last year but it was full of snow. Doesn't look like anyone is going to be fishing west of birchdale this weekend. We're leaving East Grand Forks at 2am on saturday, so that should put us on the water by 6:30.

Mercury is emitted from coal burning power plants and can travel a long ways.  Sulfate or maybe it is sulfide is from mining.

So, this Deer runs through the forest all winter without breaking it's neck on anything. Then breaks it's neck by your deck that just happens to have a bird feeder and lots of really big rocks by it? Did the Warden buy it?   Oh yeah nice fish haul.

I always thought after shooting them from my deck, it couldn't get any easier; guess I was wrong. Lol! Backstraps never tasted sweeter. Hope you bought a lottery ticket.

Information I have indicates the operator stopped his machine on the marked trail, in a section marked 'Thin Ice'. That is when the machine went through.
