I heard that they found a canoe upside down and life jackets floating down river in chaska. Fire dept was out searching too. Any info?

I have not heard anything but that is not good.

I have been warning and warning people about water levels, current, ice, and debris for a good week now. If something goes wrong at this time of year, its going bad in a hurry!

Stay off the water folks until she comes back down.

Good news, Just heard that it got away from some people upstream. They were on shore. Nobody got hurt.

I just finished two more of these 10 rod racks ... one is spoken for but the other is available. If you were thinking of getting one, now would be a great time. I could stain it to your spec and put the final poly finish on it and ship it to you in a couple days. Let me know if you are interested.

Just went and checked out the lake, it is a slushy mess but I can get anywhere out there on the south west side, and all I have is front wheel drive minivan lol So I'm going to do a little recon on a lake map and pick my spot for the evening bite. Any suggestions on depth for walleyes?

Nice article. Perhaps the lake trout season should close in February right along with walleyes and pike?

Yeah, saw that too. Rumor has it he was heading towards the river access from Horseshoe. Not smart.
