Its a state park. Contact Zippel Bay State Park at (218) 783-6252. They should know.

Jevne is open year 'round, although you may need a 4x4 to get back to the camping sites. Honor payment system. You should also bring your own water. And you need a current state parks sticker on your vehicle's windshield.

Good camping...

The drive into the ramp was open today but gate was shut back into camping area and don't think there were any tracks going in. Better get ahold of someone directly related to the park before you count on getting in there.

Not sure what the situation is for camping in the turn-a-round area.

Looks like the open water may be creeping down from the rapids a bit. can't believe it isn't moving more.

Any reports? I know there was a lot of people out there. The boomsite access was already 3/4 full when I drove by at 5 AM. I'm thinking about going out of blufflands park on Friday.

Kinda cold and windy yesterday. Fish really didn't seem to mind though. Finding ggod sized fish was the goal for the afternoon. Started off in a feeding bay that has a section of deeper water in it. This deeper water is where I found all my fish. Crappies were holding tight to the weed cover around the hole, while gills were closer to the surface. It wasn't fast fishing by any means, still I managed to find some real quality pannies

I have two Vexilar transducers.    1) Thru hull/trolling motor- used.  From FL8 2) New never used, high speed.       I looked on Vexilar's site, The one's they sell say FL8 or FL18.  Checked FAQ and they look like they are interchangeable with other models???  Can text pictures-what do you have?
