Garmin 76csx in cold weather ??

Question

I have heared the garmins screen freezes when they get cold. I had planned on mounting a 76csx on my snowmobile. Any thoughts pleasebefore I buy ! THANKS

76cs has performed just fine so far, so I dont know why the x model would be any different.

My 76 CSX has done fine to well below 0, although I think any display will get sluggish if it gets too darn cold. If you are going to mount it on a machine I would get one of the soft cases (don't even know where mine came from, maybe someone else knows a source) to slide over it and insert a hand warmer behind it to keep a little heat on it if it really cold.
