Prime: Is a weigh in live releasable? It's hard not having a live well! I'd normally release large fish,I do keep eaters,But this would mean most likely dead fish for me.

new to American Cancer Society Mid Summer State Championship.Three more sponsors have made it so three more prizes can be obtained now giving the availability of another $500.00 for top finishing
each species.$500.00 for splitting the bass side ,so now their is a prize of $500.00 for largest small mouth and $500.00 for largest largemouth.I am very happy to note that we are raisng an equal amount if not more for the American Cancer Society. The odds of wiining in this tournament are now 1 in 7+1/2.Hope you can get in.

I'm a bit confused does this mean you have to be a cancer survivor to qualify for prizes?

I would like to fish this and I have read the rules I don't get the hole 50 yards between boats that's a 100 yards all around the boat and how flexable is the 40mph?

mrbigdawg, unless you gett to aspot first you will stay away from any boat by 50 yards unless verbally invited in. That is only 50 yards around, their will be no flexabiltiy to 40 mph speed limit. with 100 extra boats onlake we tolerate no exeptions. lake Minnetonka with 10 times this space tolerates o tolerance and we are sure none will be expected here.We have to keep locals happy. We now have more Walleye teams than bass entered.

There was random ice sheets all over the lake this morning.   Should be ice covered 100% barring it being to windy.   By Friday at the latest.   Could be ice fishing next week in certain areas.   Don

Was up this past weekend, everything is still open. Should lock up this week though looking at the chilly forecast.

An older gentleman I know gave me his ice fishing gear last year knowing he wasn't able to use it anymore due to health.  Really tore him up, as I'm sure it would for all of us.  Cleaned up the tipups real nice, and took this photo of one on Leech to send to him knowing they were in good hands and more importantly continue to catch fish!   I'm not in St.Cloud, nor want in for the contest just thought I'd share
