494 ramp is in South St Paul. Take 64A exit (Hardman Ave) go north on Hardman take first right (Verderose Av) and follow it around to the access. You will cross some railraod tracks and go under the 494 bridge. MIght still have some detours in the area to deal with due to bridge construction so take a look at mapquest to get the general layout.

As for fishing look for current seams and 8ft to 14ft of water. The wing dams and shallow sand flats all hold walleyes and they usually have a marker buoy on them. Ringworms and SuperDoos as well as the the old jig and minnow will work. Give a spot 15 minutes and if nothing bites try another. Walleyes are moving all over in the river right now and they could be anywhere. good luck.

Plus, resorts would love to have you, now that no one goes to them due to the closing of walleye fishing.

Must of been tough to sit there looking at the lake and not fish! Can't believe it was 60 up there today!? Not what I was hoping for. Didn't hit 50 down by the cities today.

Looking at staying at Thunderbird or Sha Sha resort.  We want to spend some time fishing the Canadian side as well.  How long does it take to get from there to the Canadian Causeway bridge?  I've got a Lund ProV with a 200hp and usually run about half throttle.

What amoerage batteries do you have? I finally got my gearbox back from clam this week..... a little to late... I am so glad they used us for product testing and ended up screwing me out of going electric this year, I am selling it early next season and going with the k-drill
