Captain,

Just noticed my last post...I realize you are getting a GSP. What I meant to ask is where/who are you getting it from? I'm still looking for a GSP myself.

Thanks everyone!

Got my pup from Grouse Points Kennels over by Rice Lake, WI. I know Carey had 9 pups, 5 males and 4 females in the one litter and 6, 4 females and 2 males from another

litter. Google the kennel name! Good Lucking pups!

Going over there tomorrow to visit the pups for the first time. I'll get some pictures and have them up by the weekend.

I can not think of any lake in the Ely are that would have 5" of ice. Even the beaver ponds in the Tower area barely have ice on them! Cliff

Took a ride around to look at a few lakes today in the Duluth area today.  Needless to say I did not like what I found.  Mostly open water is what I came across.  Any thin ice I found will not be able to hold up to any kind of wind or heavy snow fall.  Come on colder temps...   As always, Take care, Tom (BD110)

Someone is already fishing on 5 inches in Ely. Look up rough fish on google, then go to the first result, then go to "recent forum topics". Neat stuff.

I took my last casts of the year today on the Cannon River, just below the dam at Alexander Park. Now I'm waiting on ice, fingers crossed for Dec 17th as it's a long weekend for me.
