Detroit Lake Resorts

3 posts in this topic

I will be in Detroit Lakes for a wedding over Labor Day weekend and we are looking to get a cabin for about 6-8 people. I do not know the names of resorts in that area that well. Can anyone give me some ideas for resorts on Detroit Lake? Thanks.

Serenity Bay Resort is on Lake Mellisa which is just on the outskirts of DL. [Note from admin: Please read forum policy before posting again. Thank you.] Not fancy but good rates and close to the city. You can mention to Kevin that Rick from Clay County sent you his way.

Sorry, been offline for a while. Yes you can STILL drive out there if you're brave. I've seen people do it last night and they are probably still driving out there today. I'm going to go check in a bit, fishing has been pretty stellar as of late.

Been out of town for the past week-ish, how are the local ice conditions, are people still driving out (safely) on Fish, Boulder..?
