Strikemaster Clothing question

I am looking at getting some new ice fishing attire and noticed the strikemaster stuff. How does it compare? Would it be waterproof enough to use as rain gear during the cold soft water rainy days? I am looking for a multipurpose purchase. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure yet how it compares, but decided to take a chance on the parka (they were selling for $50 at the Big Lake fishing contest). They were out of bibs in my size though, so I'll have to wait until next year. I don't think it's 100% water-proof, but I'm going to use some tent water-proofing spray on mine and see how it does. BTW, I bought it thinking the same thing as you (dual purpose).
