Question re: pulling a wheelhouse out??

4 posts in this topic

I want to come up Fri but might be solo or with the inexperienced and was wondering how far off the roads we can get before we get stuck and end up shoveling all day!! Are there side roads to go off on or has the wind been shuting those??? Trying to make a decision and really want to get up one last time!! Thanks

Just pull of the road and floor it until you get stuck, then start fishing. When you're done fishing, call Kelly and Jon to come out and get you. Chances are they'll get stuck too but hopefully they'll have beer. Hope that helps. grin.gif

There are enough openings through the road banks to get around. If a person watches out for the road and house banks it is not too bad for getting around.

Also with the warmer temps forecast the snow should be pretty soft.

The forum has do much more than fishing reports, hot bites, etc.  There's been more general and specific fishing  techniques, information and connecting with each other that has happened  here.     I can get hot bite information in a lot of places.  In fact many hot bites never do up on these forums.  Sounds like you've got a lot of information in a lot of places.   That's great!  Many of us have done the same thing.     Many of us have got together on the ice, in the woods or on the water because of.this forum.  That's what I've always enjoyed the most.     Hope to be able to keep doing that for a long time.

Correct.  You can throw him a buck or two to keep the road graded and all is good.  At least that's my understanding.
