Crawfish make great bait for catfish and walleye. When they won't bite on anything else try a crawfish and hold on! grin.gif

Well green lake has about the lowest population of crawfish in the area, good luck! Your going to be fighting against the bass on that category!

Sorry if I was didn't make myself clear.   What I meant was can  a place like the landing make a living from the people who come to the higher end resorts and want to go out to eat?     Clearly Ludlow's has a target market and does very well with it.  Whether that same target market can sustain the landing is another question.   Seems like maybe not...     I still wonder why they don't put the menu online.... In this day and age,  I am used to checking out a place online before walking in the door.

I've never used boards, what are the best boards to use with braid? I'll be using them on Superior and for eyes inland... I've heard the offshore ones need their clips upgraded to use with braid.

Walleye, just make it look like you are fishing for crappies.

Trout! Although, I don't think there are too many (if any, at all?) trout streams in the Ely area.
