12 posts in this topic

Has anyone ventured out to Beebe, Schmidt, Buffalo, Constance, ect. since the snowstorm. I was just wondering if any roads have been plowed on the ice.

their is a plowed road going out of sturgis park on buffalo lake. one road goes to the horse shoe and the other one goes out to the thirty foot hole. me and a buddy made the road wider so cars can pass each other.

hey no problem guys. i know how frustrating it can get when their is no plowed roads and you have a 2 wheel drive truck. it's a green ext. cab chevy duramax with a v-plow. i don't think i will be going out their any more this year but if i do i will clean the roads off for you guys.

Passed by Maple enroute to the funeral for Sgt. Chad Allen USMC this morning (3/10) and saw 1 or 2 vehicles out on the lake as well as someone on a skid steer plowing a perimeter path.

A skid steer?

I was on 2 area lakes today. You can get around real nice with 4 wheel drive now.

Made it out to North Center today by sunken island. Not very good, one perch. Marking them just not committing. Lots of water on ice, but ice is fine. 17 inches.    As far as north access, off Nelson road on east side there is an access. Put money in the box and don't be a Richard, I believe it is owned by a farmer and let's people use

Lake St Clair is a blast. If you hit vermilion at the right time it will be right up there with that. No reason you can't have a 100 fish day with a good chance at many big fish. Going by my phone pictures I had a great day on June 17 a few years back ha. Theres no shortage of rocky shorelines and docks. I'm a fan of tubes myself but I know guys love their senkos.    I'm sure you'll get some more specific responses. Wish I had more time to chase them myself
