How the lakes doing

Just wondering how the lakes are doing with this warm snap. Anybody know how much water is on the ice right now. Anyone been out to see as of lately? Is the panfishing picking up yet or still to early. Yes that was a lot of questions just want to know before i go out this weekend.

pine and big birch had quite a lot of water standing on the ice...

Lakes are fine I just got back from Minnewaska and Osakis and they were both in great shape. A little bit of surface water was all.

Was out on Little Birch last night in the gale force winds, about an inch of water everywhere, but the ice seemed pretty good yet... about 24". We didn't mark but 2 fish for 2 guys in 3 hours That really was some tough going for that result.
