Getting to the mud from the west

3 posts in this topic

Planning on heading up early wed. morn. Can anyone tell me what is the best way to get to the mudflats from the west side of the lake? Can you get there from pike point landing?

Thanks for any info, Wayne

There is a huge heave that you prolly wont be able to get across once your on the ice on the west side. I would try Garrison Sports of else Myr Mar, they have roads out to the flats!

If you want to go to flats like seguchie and Curly's , Terry's has bridges across the breaks and they just changed them tonight when we were leaving so They should be good for a while. Wedid alright on perch with the biggest being 13.5 inches, Hopefuly this is helpful!

Oh, says the guy that just took the plunge! I'm sure it will do your little pan fish ok. Let me know if you need a few Walleye's to try?

I had a battery op Repala a few years ago and sold it to someone else at our campground. Didn't like the way they just zipped through without following the fillets and lost a lot of meat. Really suk's on a partly frozen fish!   Mine came with a case.
