Minnewashta

I am heading to Minnewashta chasing some pike. Never have fished the lake and wondering if anyone can get me going in the right direction.

Walleye Pro,

There should still be a good supply of green weeds on the far south end of the lake near HWY 5. Find the edges, set your flags and you should be into hammerhandles in no time.

Good luck.

Its not safe. Stay off. Don't even walk out...so I can have all the fish to myself.

Made it out to North Center today by sunken island. Not very good, one perch. Marking them just not committing. Lots of water on ice, but ice is fine. 17 inches.    As far as north access, off Nelson road on east side there is an access. Put money in the box and don't be a Richard, I believe it is owned by a farmer and let's people use

Lake St Clair is a blast. If you hit vermilion at the right time it will be right up there with that. No reason you can't have a 100 fish day with a good chance at many big fish. Going by my phone pictures I had a great day on June 17 a few years back ha. Theres no shortage of rocky shorelines and docks. I'm a fan of tubes myself but I know guys love their senkos.    I'm sure you'll get some more specific responses. Wish I had more time to chase them myself
