Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

The cross members are 1-1/2" sqaure 1/4" thick tubing. You can put the holes many different places. I would suggest someone using plastic Catch Covers, 2 on each end and 2 around the middle for a total of six holes. Again one has many options. Thanks for looking.

Yes, A 1 1/4 inch hole is drilled in 2 inch sqaure 1/4 inch thick arms and mig welded with a a little positive camber so the top of the wheel leans out just a little, so when they are loaded or house is on they will be straight. Thanks for looking.

I'll be comparing this to what they have at the Ice Fishing show this weekend. Then we can talk, but again Moorhead is a ways away.

Looking for some folks in the area. Have you guys ever fished Borden lake near Garrison? I fished Maple lake last week with a lot of small crappie caught.  I let them all go, biggest was 9". Fished few lakes in that area with no luck. Even went to my little honey home with little succes Looking take the GF out tomorrow morning.  Any ideas? Seen someone posted about crappie in Pearl.

I was out last Sunday and there was solid 3.5 black ice. It's been s week now so guessing around 6 inches in northeast bay.  All crappie I caught were small besides on 9 incher I let go.

Pearl Lake has been lights out for crappies in that 10+ inch range this year, finally,  find 13-16 fow and then drill holes until you see suspended fish. When you find them I like a 1/10oz. Swedish pimple (silver/glow) with 2 waxies, keep it above the fish and they’ll come up for it.

I heard reports Friday of 3-5 inches out of Bayport.

I'm on vacation until January 2nd if anyone wants to meet up and go fishing let me know I've got all my own gear 95% of the time I fish alone. Willing to drive anywhere or help with gas or what ever. Going to try a local lake in the morning for some eyes and panfish unless someone has any other suggestions. Mostly a CPR guy but it's also nice to occasionally bring some home for the family.

Still pheasant hunting and still seeing lots of birds!  Went out an afternoon this past week and saw about 75 in 2.5 hours.  Went home with my 3 roosters.  Everything is froze good now so its easy walking and there's fresh snow.

Welcome to FM, Some lakes near you that are good and have some quality  are Ann,Knife and Fish to the East and the Briggs chain to the West.  Look for green vegetation or mud basin bug hatches for action.
    • monstermoose78
Sure helps to find them when you have some of the top panfish anglers around helping

Good fish Rick way to find some quality fish in a highly pressured area. Takes skill to be able to accomplish that. Maybe run into you one of these days out there
