Open accesses

I have a question for whoever is able to answer it. I am heading up to mille lacs tonight on the east side. I am wondering if everything is still open for access. We were thinking of goin out of Liberty beach, or else where. Any information on this would be great, to make sure we find a place to go out. Also any good reports from this side???

called liberty and he said they might be one of the only open. ill be up around 10:30-11.

Ran up this evening and the only 2 accesses open were Terry's and Macs twin bay. Pac ice 2-3 inches thick in Hunter's launch. Turned around and drove home. The lake was like glass and I did see a few boats out on the water. Warmer temps the next few days and evenings might help open things up but call before you head up!

The public accesses between Garrison and Myr Mar are both fine.

I may have a chance to get up on Thurs for a few hours during the day with my Dad. Can/ where can I launch from.??

Used Casino bay lastnight and it was ok. I used the kicker to get out because it is shallow. No problems! Fishing was slow but the fish were big. Got one 28, 27, 26 and 25. The 25 was a sumo . We also brought 3 home and they were just fat fat fat.. Fished from 5:30 till around midnight. I think every fish was caught on a different lure. All on very sharp inside turns with the lure nearly sitting still.
