I am heading to Duluth over the weekend of the 18th, I will not have a boat with but I am hoping may be there is somewhere to do some shore fishing. Any good areas?

Fish the French River or Lester River areas for loopers. Cast spoons or bottom rigs with crawlers or floating spawn sacks. Do a search here and you will come up with a novel.

All the Lake Superior Looper spots will work. Toss spoons or ross Bobbers and looper bugs. Lester, Brighton Beach, French, Stoney Point, Bluebird, Sucker and a few other spots to try.

Marine General will have everything you will ever need for shore fishing.
