Thanks a lot matt. I sent you an email. Hoping to shoot another one at my cabin now. I'll be hunting there the next two weekends hoping for a buck. Then its duck hunting the rice for gun opener. If your ever interested in getting out let me know.

joe congrats man. its always good to get that first one off your back. you gonna be up there this weekend? need another hunter in the woods? i got the weekend clear. love to get some meat on the table. leave a message here or call me cell. but congrats again gotta see some pics and the story!

Thanks shawn, the story and pic is in the report your archery kill thread. I'll be up tomorrow night through sunday morning but I'll be doing a lot of studying too but if you can stay at your uncles I could get a stand ready for you friday...anyways

I'll just give you a call tomorrow and see if it'll work out.

      Very weird. Those little worms in the garden do catch more than little 2-4 sunfish.

      Strange indeed... Try looking for much more slack water compared to the beech you were yesterday and today. The West side of the dam was on fire this afternoon; a friend and I were in the double digits within an hour.
