west side landing...depth?

7 posts in this topic

Hoping to go out this weekend. Is the landing on the west side by the casino deep enough or do I need to go to Terry's?

Thanks

Kevin

Read the posts from the last week, and you find that some people are useing the public landing but be carefull. But for $10 to be safe use Terrys.

Thanks for the info. I'll most likely use Terry's

I made it out of the casino access a few days ago.. along with some other boats.

You need to go strait out until 3'-4' then your good to go, you CAN NOT quarter into, or away from the access.

Trim your motor up all the way and putt.. If its windy, forget it.

Used it tonight and it was very shallow.. I used the kicker to get out but others hit bottom and got stuck for a bit. Not too much fun for them blush.gif

I'll stand behind Steve's ice rods!   I was able to get a nice collection of them last week.  Some panfish rods that I hope to work out tomorrow, and some walleye/laker types that I used today.  Great feel, light, and well built.       I connected with a couple mid-20 inch lakers today and couldn't have enjoyed the fight any better on another rod.  Very happy!   Thanks Steve!
