Mauer still on pace for batting title

Mauer currently leading the AL and MLB in batting average at .350, second is Robinson Cano at .343, followed by Jeter at .340. Let's hope he can hold these guys off!

That was the same thought in my mind when I was looking at the statistics. I don't see that happening though.

I think Dick and Bert mentioned the other night that Joe would probably sit out either tomorrow night's game or the Saturday morning game. So he doesn't have many starts left. With the number of ABs he has, he would need to go through quite a slump to drop 7 points on his average. Not impossible, but I don't think it is probable.
