After reading the article my guess would be he wrote that piece at the peak of that "Old Style" bender. wink.gif

Holy Smokes I think that drunk hillbilly was even trying to be serious when he wrote that drivel. Wow, wonder what its like waking up without the burden of reality in your life...

Yeah... you guys really can't be serious. The Pack lost to the Bears by 26 points. That really wasn't a game, more like an unmerciful beating. The Vikes made it a game and lost it in the end by 3 points. Really not a comparison between the two. Chris Havel probably shouldn't drink before he writes his articles.

I crossed over to the dark side of smallies about 15 years ago. Mostly chase pannies in winter but used to chase eyes a few times on the hard water each season.   I could post a ton of pics if you need more proof.

Sorry to make you hold up a bottom feeder, but we needed to see it!

I was up over the weekend and my shoreline was getting pretty sketchy.  Had a pocket of open water down the shore about a 100 yards. Where I could see the bottom in two to three feet of water.  Walked out about a hundred yards and popped four holes Saturday afternoon. There was 17- 18.5"s of ice in those four holes. Looking at the forecast I can't see the ice sticking around too much longer.  The holes I popped had 5-6" of pretty mushy cloudy stuff on top and about 12"s of pretty solid stuff underneath it.
