SHORE FISHING

2 posts in this topic

Just moved to the St Michael area and was looking for a place to shore fish. Does anyone know what kind of fish are in the crow river and if so where there is a good spot to fish from.

All i know is that there are alot of walleyes in the river. I fished it a few times in the town of hutchingson, we caught alot of them there. Have not been there in away. Pike are something that you will run into every now and then. We caught them on a Road Runner with fatheads. Hope this helps. Good Luck

Most of our fish came on minnows under bobbers. I spooked countless fish with even subtle jigging.

I never made it out Monday was too tired from fishing Friday - sunday didn't feel like getting up early

Hey, Here a quick update on actual ice thickness or snow cover on trout. 14 inchs of ice pressure ridge out there. if you are  on a snowmobile if traveling fast on it watch for it. Truck or car i do not recommend on trout with pressure ridge. And yes i have been on the whitefish chain this year in truck. just not on trout. just my 2 cents
