Island Lake- Sat. Sept 9 Hot Bite

1 post in this topic

For those of you who still have the fishing urge Island Lake is on the fall bite. Launched @ 7:00 AM on Saturday and had the lake to ourselves. By noon we had two limits of walleyes all 19 to 13 inches. We had steady action and returned another 30 smaller fish and one 30 inch musky. Jigs and minnows fished slow and vertical down the sides of center lake reefs was the ticket to sucess this time. This is a classic fall bite on Island. Fishing will be good till freeze up. Given the fact that there was a solid season changing cold front moving in I thought that this was an excellent result.

I had a battery op Repala a few years ago and sold it to someone else at our campground. Didn't like the way they just zipped through without following the fillets and lost a lot of meat. Really suk's on a partly frozen fish!   Mine came with a case.

I haven't but I'very heard that there have different versions of the clam adapter and Milwaukee has made some changes as well in their design to deal with higher torque ratings.  Give Clam a call with you drill mod4l number and I'm sure they'll be able to help you out with which is the correct for your drill.
