Redmond catch, Mauer DH

If Mauer is experiencing fatigue from catching all year long why don't they throw him in at DH and let Redmond do a little more catching? I am not saying let Mauer DH for the rest of the season, but if Redmond could catch three times a week or so that could be beneficial to Mauer and the Twins chances in the playoffs should they make it.

Gardenhire alluded to this very idea recently. You might be onto something. Mauer when 0-2 today, but also got walked twice which is as good as a lead-off single.

I agree with you about the walks. 0-2 today, but still .500 for the on-base percentage.
