Carlsona Supper Club is located close to the Carlsona Sand Break on the NE side of the lake. You should be able to find the Sand Break on any map or map chip.

I take the wife out to eat quit often when we are at the cabin.. Been to most of the restaurants on the lake and my favorite is still the Casino buffett or steak house (Can't remember the name of the restaurant in the casino)... I still believe they have the best food up in that area.. For breakfast I do not think you can beat "Buzzies" buffett in Macs Twin Bay, they also have some pretty good lunches and dinners too... If you do go to Carsonla's on the north end, do not order the steak sandwich, last time I was there I got it, it was BAD!!!!

I agree with the great steaks at the Casino. The Casino treats you real good, they want you to come back. smile.gif

We were at the buffet one time and my 4 year old was having a hard time finding anything on the buffet he liked, when one of the chefs walked by and noticed this. He asked my son if he would like some french fries, my son replied yes. The chef brought out a huge plate of fries right to our table.

Great service and great food !

Thanks for the ice report, Sculpin.  With the weather forecasted for the upcoming week, I'm sure I'll be up there next weekend, hopefully walking out from the northwest side.   van, yeah, I hear you.  I've been up to LOW a few times, and it is very fun to know there's the chance of catching a monster....but driving all that way for a bucket full of 12'' fish?  Not my cup of tea. I'll save the money and buy three dozen T-bones to make it through the winter. I'm sure people who know the lake better than I do have done better on the weekends I'm up there, but the reports at the resort we used were pretty similar.    I like the northwest side on ML because it's where we've been for almost 20 years, but it also has close access to sand, rocks, whatever weeds remain, mud flats, transitions, etc. The only thing we don't have up there is extensive gravel.

I'm curious to see how this works out. Do you plan to keep the battery warm while not is use on the water?
