LAKE ZUMBRO

2 posts in this topic

How's the crappie bite? Is it worth coming down for some crappie action this weekend? I am fishing on Sunday, either at lake Zumbro or the backwaters. Haven't been to either in a long time so just seeing if it is worth the time. thanks.

Haven't heard much on the Zumbro as of recent. I'm going to give it a whirl on Tuesday. There are some fish being caught, but its not hot (unless you want to bang some white bass)

Backwaters has slowed on the bass and pike bite, but the pannie action has picked up a bit.

Oh, says the guy that just took the plunge! I'm sure it will do your little pan fish ok. Let me know if you need a few Walleye's to try?

I had a battery op Repala a few years ago and sold it to someone else at our campground. Didn't like the way they just zipped through without following the fillets and lost a lot of meat. Really suk's on a partly frozen fish!   Mine came with a case.
