Rainy Lake slabs for ya

4 posts in this topic

Here are a few teaser pics of the fishin that has been going on lately on the Canadian side of rainy. Hot baits for me are either the Silver Shiner Slurpie by Northland Tackle or a Jig and a small minnow.

16inch-

Nice slabs! We got into some nice ones in redgut on friday with the largest being about 2 lbs. Fished saturday up there but it was way too busy on the crappie spots so decided to hammer some walleyes.

Were you guys up in redgut or the rice bay area?...or your not telling.

Way to go on the crappies!!

New to the forum. Glad I was able to find a good forum for trout fishing in the SE area! I had probably my best year of trout fishing this year on the whitewater. Here are a few that I managed to get throughout the year. The first one was in the 16" range and the second one was about 18".

Whose road is that at the bottom of the picture? I am thinking that one of JR's roads is the one that goes off at a diagonal, the second road from the bottom of the picture. The road I am asking about seems more toward the reservation line.   Thanks.

Myr Mar is open on the northwest side. Garrison sports is too, I believe.

Fish the deeper holes and you'll find some suspended cats. They seem to be cruising around about 28-32' under the ice.
