Creepy type of night with cloud cover and mist/fog going on. Started out slow with one rock bass. Then worked up the river to a place where I saw them feeding in shallow water and it was game on then. Had my personal best as far as quantity goes. Caught 8 smallies from 15-17 inches and had two in that range go bye bye close to shore. Had about 5-7 little guys as well. Had a catfish at the end hit my top water lure. It went about 4-5 pounds. Stephen King would be proud of the weather tonight. Biting really aggressive. Geese were flying and active as well. Mother nature knows when a front is coming in.
