Greenway out for season

4 posts in this topic

Just read the article on the Trib's website, Greenway is gone for 2006. I think this really is too bad, what a great kid, I really liked his team-first attitude that he walked in with. I guess we are just lucky that EJ has been playing so well in camp, as it sat before the game Greenway was still the #2 guy behind EJ on the weakside...

That's too bad, I was looking forward to watching him this year. He made a great foot tackle early in the game lastnight and those types of plays are typical from his hard-nose defense. I hope he recovers quickly...

Playing special teams on monday night he tried breaking up the wedge. He got hit and kind of went sideways and his left knee gave. He tore his ACL and is done for the year.

I crossed over to the dark side of smallies about 15 years ago. Mostly chase pannies in winter but used to chase eyes a few times on the hard water each season.   I could post a ton of pics if you need more proof.

Sorry to make you hold up a bottom feeder, but we needed to see it!

I was up over the weekend and my shoreline was getting pretty sketchy.  Had a pocket of open water down the shore about a 100 yards. Where I could see the bottom in two to three feet of water.  Walked out about a hundred yards and popped four holes Saturday afternoon. There was 17- 18.5"s of ice in those four holes. Looking at the forecast I can't see the ice sticking around too much longer.  The holes I popped had 5-6" of pretty mushy cloudy stuff on top and about 12"s of pretty solid stuff underneath it.
