I have fished it before, it has lots of walleyes in right along the weedlines, but fishing it was a trick as the eurasian milfoil has taken over the lake along with what i think was curlyleaf pondweed. It also has some bass and hammerhandles. I really think it excels early in the season before weedgrowth gets heavy. There is a back bay where there is good bass fishing.

that is about all i know

tight lines

I crossed over to the dark side of smallies about 15 years ago. Mostly chase pannies in winter but used to chase eyes a few times on the hard water each season.   I could post a ton of pics if you need more proof.

Sorry to make you hold up a bottom feeder, but we needed to see it!

I was up over the weekend and my shoreline was getting pretty sketchy.  Had a pocket of open water down the shore about a 100 yards. Where I could see the bottom in two to three feet of water.  Walked out about a hundred yards and popped four holes Saturday afternoon. There was 17- 18.5"s of ice in those four holes. Looking at the forecast I can't see the ice sticking around too much longer.  The holes I popped had 5-6" of pretty mushy cloudy stuff on top and about 12"s of pretty solid stuff underneath it.
