good shore fishing around North Saint Paul

I was wondering what lakes around North Saint Paul (with in a 15 mile radius) have some decent shore fishing areas and some decent fish? any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot. Dan

Try this one in the Metro Lakes Forum, Danny.

I agree that the metro forum will be a better bet, but Silver lake right in your back yard can be OK. Best bet- go to the St. Croix or Mississippi. You never know what you will get- just get some floating jigheads (orange or glow), some clip on bell sinkers, and a bucket of fathead minnows. Find a public waterfront and cast out. Half of the fun is finding a good spot, but as a start, try the Hudson area, the Stillwater area, the Prescott area, or the Hastings area.
