I'll be coming to Lake Vermilion the 3rd week in June and staying in the Pike Bay area. I'll primarily be fishing for bass. I'll have a small boat with me and will only be able to travel a small distance from the launch site.

Will I find good smallmouth/largemouth fishing near Pike Bay or should I plan to drive to another of the lake?

Randy,

Welcome to the FM- Lake Vermilion forum! smile.gif

There are plenty of good bass spots in Pike Bay and the main lake area close to you that have good bass fishing.

Unless you get really windy weather you should be fine.

Cliff
