Members Only Fluid Forum View   08/08/2017

Fluid forum view allows members only to get right to the meat of this community; the topics. You can toggle between your preferred forum view just below to the left on the main forum entrance. You will see three icons. Try them out and see what you prefer.   Fluid view allows you, if you are a signed up member, to see the newest topic posts in either all forums (select none or all) or in just your favorite forums (select the ones you want to see when you come to Fishing Minnesota). It keeps and in real time with respect to Topic posts and lets YOU SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FORUMS. It can make things fun and easy. This is especially true for less experienced visitors raised on social media. If you, as a members want more specific topics, you can even select a single forum to view. Let us take a look at fluid view in action. We will then break it down and explain how it works in more detail.   The video shows the topic list and the forum filter box. As you can see, it is easy to change the topic list by changing the selected forums. This view replaces the traditional list of categories and forums.   Of course, members only can change the view to better suit your way of browsing.   You will notice a “grid” option. We have moved the grid forum theme setting into the main forum settings. This makes it an option for members only to choose. This screenshot also shows the removal of the forum breadcrumb in fluid view mode. Fluid view remembers your last forum selection so you don’t lose your place when you go back to the listing. The benefit of this feature is easy to see. It removes a potential barrier of entry for members only. It puts the spotlight on topics themselves, and not the hierarchical forum structure. You as a member will enjoy viewing many forums at once and switching between them without leaving the page. We hope that fluid view, the new functionality is an asset that you enjoy .

Why Fishing is better than Sex

Why Fishing is better than Sex:

1. You don't have to hide your Fishing magazines.

2. It's perfectly acceptable to pay a professional to Fish with you once in a while.

3. The Ten Commandments don't say anything about Fishing.

4. If your partner takes pictures or videotapes of you Fishing in your Whaler, you don't have to worry about them showing up on the Internet if you become famous.

5. Your Fishing partner doesn't get upset about people you fished with long ago.

6. It's perfectly respectable to Fish with a total stranger.

7. When you see a really good Fisher person, you don't have feel guilty about imagining the two of you Fishing in a Whaler together.

8. If your regular Fishing partner isn't available, he/she won't object if you Fish with someone else.

9. Nobody will ever tell you that you will go blind if you Fish by yourself.

10. When dealing with a Fishing pro, you never have to wonder if they are really an undercover cop.

11. You can have a Fishing calendar on your wall at the office, tell Fishing jokes, and invite coworkers to Fish with you without getting sued for harassment.

12. There are no Fishing-transmitted diseases.

13. If you want to watch Fishing on television, you don't have to subscribe to the Playboy channel.

14. Nobody expects you to Fish with the same partner for the rest of your life.

15. Nobody expects you to give up Fishing if your partner loses interest in it.

16. Your Fishing partner will never say, "Not again? We just Fished last week! Is Fishing all you ever think about?"

1. You can become a fishing guide to help show people to enjoy it more, get paid for it and not be arrested.

2. You can buy thousands of dollars in fishing toys, and not worry if the kids find them.

3. Can show off your fishing toys in public.

I haven't ice fished this lake in about 4 years. It had a pretty large scale winter kill a few years back. I am sure it has since rebounded. Lakes like this typically come back pretty quickly following winter kill, especially with the mild winters we have had as of late. Mayhew used to be loaded with smaller perch, and had decent crappie action at times. I too would be curious to know how Mayhew is doing. Wish I could be more help to you.

Be very cautious on lakes even further north of the Ogilvie area lakes. As of 3 days ago, there was still significant open water on Ripple, Hickory, Big Pine, Cedar, Bay, Farm Island, and numerous other lakes in the Mille Lacs, and Aitken area. Be very cautious, take your time, and test the ice every 10 yards or so, particularly if you get anywhere near anything that would be considered mid lake. Area resorts and bait shops are very reluctant to give advice that would be considered a green light to access even the small lakes. Be safe....

Anyone on here been out on White Bear yet? I've seen a few people out off the Ramsey Beach area where the truck went through the other day but have not had a chance to venture out myself. Normally I hit the Belaire area early ice. Thanks!

wealthwood had1.5 last weekend, i saw no one out but 1 person on the whole west side last wsat afternoon. thi week the resorts on the north end and east are reporting decent ice. check with the resorts before you go out. id stay away from public accesses now and follow a staked road.
