Washington Crappies

The crappies are starting to come in shallow on Washington. Fishing from shore on Mud Bay Tuesday night yeilded some 9"-10" crappies just after the sun went below the horizon.

Yep, no more sitting on the bucket leaning over and looking in the hole.

Now its all sitting from a bucket on shore or getting in boat.

Hey BigDs where is mud bay exactly on Washington? I know where Bakers bay is, the 3rd point, the narrows. Could you give me a referance from one of these spots?

Leaving from Westwood, look right. That bay is mud bay. Also known as Crystal Bay. Another spot to check would be along the shoreline to the right of the north access. I don't know if the dock is in there yet but I do know the Westwood dock is in.
