A little help for MN native

3 posts in this topic

Hi there
I grew up in MN and have lived in Colo for the past 10-12 years. It looks like I have a chance come up north (monticello area) for work and will be meeting some guys from WI over the week of June 7th.
We will have a boat and would like to fish for walleye on either the river or surrounding lakes.
Any suggestions on where we might try in the evenings and if the bite is on yet?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well the river is always worth a try, as far as lakes in the Monti. area go, Buffalo and Pulaski are just a short drive from Monti. and hold good walleye populations. Any one of those three should be worth a try in my book. Good Luck

Thanks for the help. I think we will try the river and see what happens.
Thanks again!
